Bac traversier Vétheuil - Moisson
C’est depuis la Seine que l’on peut découvrir l’un des plus beaux points de vue sur Vétheuil. Profitez d'une courte traversée du fleuve entre le village de Vétheuil (Val d'Oise) et Lavacourt (commune de Moisson, Yvelines) sur un petit bateau de 12 places.
De 1890 à 1960, un bac permettait aux vétheuillais de traverser la Seine pour se rendre à Lavacourt sur la rive opposée : une traversée de 225 m alors que la distance à parcourir par la route est de… 23 km !
En 2009, Vétheuil renoue avec ce passé avec le retour d’un bac reliant les deux communes. Le bac peut accueillir 12 passagers, poussettes et vélos et fonctionne de mi-avril à mi-octobre du vendredi au dimanche. La traversée est gratuite.
Le bac fonctionnera jusqu'au 2 octobre 2025 (sauf crue du fleuve ou baisse de son niveau).
