Collégiale Saint-Martin de Montmorency
La collégiale Saint-Martin de Montmorency est une église de style flamboyant. Située sur un éperon rocheux et précédée d'une terrasse, elle domine la vallée de Montmorency.
La collégiale est l'ancienne chapelle funéraire des seigneurs de Montmorency. Sa construction s'étend sur cinq siècles.
De 1515 à 1530, Guillaume édifie le chœur et les quatre premières travées. Son fils, le connétable Anne, achève la nef et la ferme d'un simple mur, de 1557 à 1563. En 1687, les Oratoriens élèvent une façade si disgracieuse que l'architecte Lucien Magne est chargé de rétablir, de 1891 à 1908, un porche et un clocher en harmonie avec l'ensemble de l'édifice, classé en 1943.
On peut y admirer d'anciens et magnifiques vitraux, véritables livres d'histoire de la famille des Montmorency.
